OBTAINING YOUR NETWORK SOLUTIONS USERNAME AND PASSWORD
If your domain name is registered with Network Solutions, you can make
changes to it (changing your address or contacts) by logging in to their
web site. In order to do this you need the username and password for your
account. These instructions will tell you how to get your username and
password if you do not have them.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
You must first determine if you can receive mail send to your domain's
administrative contact.
- Go to www.netsol.com.
- Click the "WHOIS" link at the top of the page.
- Type your domain name in the form and click "GO!".
- Look at the email address listed for the Administrative Contact.
If you can receive mail sent to this address, continue below with
"ADMIN ADDRESS IS VALID". If not, continue with "ADMIN ADDRESS IS
NOT VALID".
ADMIN ADDRESS IS VALID
- Go to www.netsol.com.
- Click on "ACCOUNT MANAGER" at the top of the page.
- Click on "Forgot your Account Number / Username or Password?".
- Under "Retrieve Your Account Number", enter your domain name in the
first text field and click "GO!".
- Select the Administrative Contact and click "Continue".
- Your account number will be emailed to the administrative contact's
email address.
- Once you have your account number, call Network Solutions at
1-888-642-9675. Choose option 2, then option 1. Give your
domain name and account number to the representative, and explain
that you'd like the password for your account mailed to the
domain's administrative contact email address.
ADMIN ADDRESS IS NOT VALID
- Please call Network Solutions at 1-888-642-9675 and ask them
for the username for your domain. Let them know the Admin email
address is no longer valid.
- Fill out a copy of this Fax Form.
Please remember the form must be filled out completely and include
a legally binding signature from a representative of the company.
This means an owner, President or VP level signature. The form
MUST be printed on company letterhead.
- Once the form is filled out completely, printed on company letterhead,
and signed by the appropriate company representative, please fax
to NSI at 571-434-4623. Also fax A-link a copy at 408-318-6809 so
that we may follow up on the change for you in the event it doesn't
occur quickly enough.
- The standard timeline for this process is 5 business days. If
you need the password reset more quickly, we suggest waiting 24
hours after you fax the form to NSI and then follow up with a phone
call to them. NSI can confirm that they received the fax and usually
will reset the password while you are on the phone.
