Outlook 2002/XP Configuration Guide

• Launch Outlook 2002 or Outlook XP.
• From the Tools menu, select Email Accounts.
• Click the Add button.
• Choose "Add a new e-mail account", click Next.
• Select "POP3", then click Next.
• Under "User Information", enter your real name and email address as you would like them to appear on messages you send.
• Under "Logon Information" enter your full email address for User Name and enter your password. Check "Remember password" if you like.
• Under "Server Information", enter incoming.alink.net for the Incoming server and outgoing.alink.net for the Outgoing server.
• Click the "More settings" button, then then "Outgoing Server" tab.
• Check the box next to "My server requires authentication". Click the Settings button, and make sure "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" is checked.
• Click the "Advanced" tab. Change the "Outgoing (SMTP) Port" to "587".
• Click OK, then Finish.
