Netscape and Mozilla Configuration Guide
You must use at least version 6 of Netscape or version 1 of Mozilla
to communicate with A-Link's mail server.
- Launch Netscape or Mozilla.
- From the Tasks menu (Window menu in Mozilla), select Mail & Newsgroups.
- In the mail window, from the Edit menu select Mail & Newsgroup Account
Settings.
- Click New Account.
- If you are using Netscape, select ISP or email provider then click Next.
If you are using Mozilla, select Email account then click Next.
- Enter your name and email address as you want them to appear on messages
you send, then click Next.
- Select POP for the incoming mail server type, and enter incoming.alink.net
for the Server Name.
Click Next.
- For your User Name, enter your full email address, then
click Next.
- For Account Name, enter your email address. Click Next, then click
Finish.
- In the list of accounts, click on Outgoing Server (SMTP). Enter
outgoing.alink.net for the Server Name. Check the box for "Use name and
password", and enter your login ID for the User Name. Click Okay.
